Secretary Kristine Haag called the meeting to order welcoming those in attendance at 1:10 pm.

A letter was read from AccuRegister announcing their retirement effective October 31, 2017 received on September 26, 2017.

The secretary report was passed out. In 2016, 19 information packets were sent out. So far in 2017 there have been 14 sent out. In 2016 we had 12 new life members. So far in 2017 there have been 5.  There have been 48 annual renewals recieved.

A copy of the Treasures report was passed out, the checking account has a balance of $11441.69 as of September 30, 2017.

The Executive Committee report was presented by Kristine. The Committee decided to purchase a program from Centric Software in MN to register cattle for the association.

Kristine will be the new register.

The Register report from AccuRegister showed 401 females, 23 males and 37 transfers in 2016. So far in 2017, there have been 200 females, 6 males and 55 transfers.

The Bulletin report was presented by Winifred Hoffman, editor. There are between 125 and 140 bulletins printed each quarter. Winifred encourages members to submit articles and photos.

Angie Eggenberger reported that the web site is going well. Hosting is paid up for 2 years at a time.

Jim Versweyveld presented the classification schedule for 2018 that will be found in the Bulletin and website. In 2017, 2 farms classified a total of 451 animals.

A motion to approve the reports was made by Jim Versweyveld and seconded by Winifred Hoffman.

There will be a breed promotion at the ALBC meeting in November by Martha Hoffman. There was information on the breed at the Turnbridge fair in NY.

The new Register will begin November 1, all applications will be sent to Kristine. There will be some changes to the papers with the new software.

The 2018 meeting will be on Thursday of World Dairy Expo at 1pm.
